We’re proud to say that today marks Camino Financial’s 6th anniversary.
Throughout our first 6 years, we’ve deployed over $60 million in loans across thousands of businesses nationwide. Furthermore, our loans have resulted in $45 million in new revenue growth from our members, as well as saving them $7 million in interest and other fees.
The best part:
We’re barely getting started!
Most of our loan growth was realized in the last 12 months, and we expect to continue to scale our impact across the United States.
Today, though, we are facing one of our toughest challenges to date: the coronavirus pandemic. But it is our members who inspire us and give us the drive to keep working every day to find new ways to help small businesses. Now, more than ever, we have the drive to help business owners navigate through this unprecedented moment in our lives.
Times like these remind us why Camino Financial exists.
As a direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Camino Financial anchored its efforts in building one of the largest, bilingual COVID-19 and new normal content hubs on government and other relief resources for small businesses.
Also, we launched Member Services and an exclusive Member Facebook group to directly engage and share relief resources where available. Last but not least, we continue to deploy capital in underserved markets where relief funds such as PPP or EIDL are not available.
Camino Financial is still open for business!!
As the United States begins to reopen, we anticipate a prolonged period of recovery for many small businesses. For this reason, Camino Financial will transition its efforts from short-term relief to the long road of recovery for small businesses.
We know it takes a community to build a successful business. So, in order to find better and cheaper ways to design and deploy medium-term recovery funds and other resources into underserved markets, we’re actively engaging with:
- the philanthropic community
- media partners
- and other key stakeholders
More updates on this front to come!!!
Now, more than ever, we must stand by our business owners and support them as they undergo one of the biggest challenges of their lifetime. We, and the United States economy, cannot afford to put at risk generations of community wealth creation.
We’re honored to be able to play a small role in safeguarding the generational wealth of our community, especially when times are tough. We still have a lot of work to do, and rest assured, our team is working tirelessly to ensure no business gets left behind.
Please join me in wishing Camino Financial a Happy 6th anniversary.
